Doughnut Time raises the bar with a Cadbury's Creme Egg collab for Easter

It wouldn’t be Easter without a Cadbury’s Creme Egg. How do you eat yours? Scooping out the filling or an all-in-one bite? How about with a doughnut?

Australian brand Doughnut Time first hit the UK in 2017 with a series of pop-ups, and quickly became London's doughnut of choice. Now they can add a collaboration with British superbrand Cadbury to their accolades. Open in Old Street station, the Easter-themed cafe offers sickly sweet treats, such as ‘Dippy Dough Sticks’ served with a Cadbury Creme Egg or ‘It’s Always a Goo Time’ glazed doughnut in yellow and chocolate checks, decorated in candy sprinkles and (surprise surprise) a Cadbury Creme Egg. An array of beautifully decorated doughnuts are also available, from blue sprinkled bunny rabbits to red velvet swirls and Mini Egg Nests. Or just keep it simple with a few scoops of ice-cream.

The store decked out with big dollops of colour (think the famous Cadburys purple, Creme Egg yellow and Doughnut Time turquoise), is hard to ignore in Old Street station. And an egg-shaped seating area welcomes sticky fingers to stay and make their way through their chosen dessert.
