First impressions count, and they’re 94% design-related.

This event has been and gone. See what went down...

You have a space for your idea, now how do you bring it to life? Companies only have one opportunity to make a first impression. With such fierce competition in the retail world, it is essential to maximise every opportunity to stand out.

For this month's masterclass, we're joined by our Additions fit-out partner: a multi-disciplinary creative studio directed by Myles Grimsdale and Mehrnoosh Khadivi, two Designers and Art Directors who visualise, plan and execute complete bespoke environments.

The ex Creative Director of Sketch, Mehrnoosh has a wealth of experience including working with Nicholas Kirkwood, LVMH, Roland Mouret, London Fashion Week and The British Fashion Council.

Myles has championed design roles all over the world, including as Calvin Klein's Head Menswear Designer, Tommy Hilfiger and Timberland's Design Director as well as consulting for D&G, Helmut Lang, Stüssy and Levi's. More recently he has built a successful career as an Art Director in advertising, film, TV and music.

Both speakers will be sharing their expertise with an interactive presentation showcasing their career with advice and inspiration on how to stand out. Please come ready with questions and join us for an evening of learnings. Spaces are limited so it will be first-come, first-served.

Each masterclass will include:

  • A dynamic presentation from Mehrnoosh and Myles
  • Interactive opportunities to go through the design process and considerations
  • 1:1 advice on design and brand experience from Mehrnoosh, Myles and the Appear Here team
  • Networking opportunities with London's top brands over an open bar and canapés
  • Goodie bag from London's top makers

Every attendee will be emailed a quick questionnaire before coming to the session so we can tailor workshops to your specific needs
