Bushwick has been busy reinventing itself as the new class of neighboring old-school Williamsburg. Between the small shops and conveniences, Wilson Avenue is home to shops like Molasses Books, a used bookstore which opens until midnight, and Worship, a buy, sell, trade store with the highest seller compensation in the city. This retail shop to let has a feature brick wall and extra room for storage.
Expect to find an eclectic community around here. The converted loft spaces attract artistic youth to this street. You’ll also find young families who come for the decent house prices and choice of public schools. It’s busiest with the afternoon school run and the after-work crowd.
You're next door to a local chicken shop, surrounded by residential blocks, and opposite a mini Stop One supermarket. Further down, this block is lined with laid-back cafes like Frolian and Routine Bushwick.
The signage outside looks a bit shabby, but it's an easy fix.
Wilson Avenue isn’t the most happening of streets as there's quite a few residential blocks, but you'll attract a steady crowd.
