Thurloe Place might not be in many travel guides, but it’s certainly well-trodden by tourists as it winds its way from South Kensington tube to the V&A, Natural History Museum and Science Museum. Lined with bars and eateries to fuel out-of-towners and well-heeled locals alike, this pretty street is also home to this great-looking space to let with two floors, each measuring 1,000 square feet, to showcase your brand.
A minute’s walk away, South Kensington station is the stop for some of London’s most-visited museums, the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College and the Royal College of Music, so it’s no surprise that over 30 million people pass through it every year. As well as seeing plenty of international visitors, Thurloe Place’s eating and watering holes are a draw for local office workers and residents, too. On weekdays, lunchtimes and early evenings will be the busiest times; at weekends you’ll see a steady stream of people all day long.
You won’t have any direct neighbours on Thurloe Place, although you will be near popular Italian restaurant Pierino and over the road from café and deli Brompton Food Market, Japanese café Tombo, and the Hoop & Toy, South Kensington’s oldest established pub.
There’s no lighting currently fitted, and the basement isn’t useable.
