THE CROWD

Once the stomping ground for antique dealers, Portobello Road now attracts an eclectic crowd: well-heeled Notting Hill inhabitants shop here for designer clothes and vintage homewares, while weekends see the street flooded with tourists. It’s fairly busy all week round here, and the street’s pubs and restaurants keep things lively in the evenings.
