A Little About This Space

Great Portland Street is home to various independent fashion retailers and down the road from Oxford Street, London’s busiest shopping street. This showroom could be used for retail, exhibitions, events. Currently home to Tank Magazine, you’d be sharing the space with them but can still make areas of it your own. This pop-up shop includes access to the reception area right in front of the windows and free rein of downstairs.

Focusing on arts and pop culture, Tank’s creative staff will be the most permanent visitors to your space. BBC’s Broadcasting House is around the corner on Portland Place, so you might get a few famous faces too. This area is pretty active throughout the night, but the offices close at around 6pm. Oxford Circus station is a five-minute walk away.

There are a block of flats and a Ryman’s stationers on one side, and an architect/interior designer on the other. The spaces across the road are undergoing a lot of developments at the moment.

This listing for the front section of the space and the basement.

Access is shared with Tank Magazine.

Home Truths

Tank will generally close their office at the end of the working day, so you might have to work out an arrangement with them if you want to stay open late. Their branding’s already in the front window too, so promoting yourself means you need to share the space.

Tank employees will be accessing the space throughout the day.
