Lamb’s Conduit Street has a well-earned reputation as a unique shopping destination for menswear and independent boutiques. But not all just about the men – you’ll find coffee shops, a food cooperative and a bookseller selling out-of-print works from female writers on this village-like street in Bloomsbury. Set up shop in this boutique to rent and introduce your name to this independently spirited area. There’s storage space down the basement, plus a kitchen.
You’ll find a diverse crowd of knowing shoppers, local affluent residents and a tight-knit community of shopkeepers. Mornings and lunchtimes bring local workers to places such as Redemption Roasters and The People’s Supermarket. In the evenings, post-work drinkers and diners head to Cigala, Ciao Bella and The Lamb. There are less people around at weekends, but it’s never completely quiet here. Russell Square station is a seven-minute walk.
You’re next to the local legend that is Knockbox Coffee and opposite J.Crew. Aesop and Oliver Sweeney are a few doors down, as are a number of unique boutiques including Folk, Grenson, Oliver Spencer and Persephone Books.
Any redecoration of the space should be agreed with the landlord first.
The space is licensed to serve food but the type of food prepared is subject to the landlord's approval.
