Home truths
This space is subject to a rolling lease and, in rare cases, may become unavailable with 28 days’ notice. In such an event, bookings would be cancelled and fully refunded in line with our cancellation policy.

Space rules
Maximum capacity is 60 people in the gallery space at any one time (fire safety requirement).
2. Installation & Deinstallation
All set-up and deinstallation must take place within your booked hire period. This includes:
– Filling and sanding holes
– Repainting walls, if needed
– Removing all materials, rubbish, and equipment
A charge will apply if the space is not returned to its original condition.
3. Decorations & Installations
All decoration and technical installation plans must be approved in writing in advance.
No open flames, candles, incense, smoking, or vaping (including e-cigarettes) are permitted.
4. Insurance
Hirers must provide proof of £2 million public liability insurance at least 14 days before the event.
5. Noise & Music
All amplified sound and music must be approved in advance and kept at a reasonable level out of respect for resident artists and neighbouring businesses.
6. Security & Safety
You are responsible for the safety and security of attendees, staff, and equipment.
Security personnel are optional but recommended for evening events.
7. Promotion
The Bomb Factory name and logo may not be used in any promotional materials without prior written consent.
8. Waste Disposal
Rubbish must be correctly disposed of using Bomb Factory-provided council bin bags.
Oversized or non-standard waste must be removed by the hirer.
9. Licensing
THE BUILDING IS NOT LICENSED. The hirer is responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or approvals, including a Temporary Events Notice if applicable.

This may include a Temporary Events Notice (TEN).
10. Restricted Areas
The basement is not to be used under any circumstances as it is not health and safety compliant.
