This winding collection of boutiques and restaurants forms part of Hampstead Village’s main shopping hub, and is one of its busiest streets. THE CROWD

Heath Street’s pubs, shops and restaurants are popular with Hampstead’s affluent community and visitors, although you’re more likely to see the latter at weekends. With a prep school next door and a couple of salons nearby, you’ll see plenty of yummy mummies in the mornings and afternoons. Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest days as locals are joined by Londoners and tourists heading to Hampstead Heath or out for brunch and a browse around.
