THE CROWD

It’s amazing to think this used to be a no-go area now the creative crowd has moved in, bringing a new wave of cool coffeeshops, quirky bar-restaurants and independent boutiques with them. It’s very rarely quiet on this busy main road, but there’s a neighbourhood feel about it as residents old and new stroll around shopping for groceries, running errands or grabbing a bite to eat. The Elephant’s Head and Les Nénettes nearby are popular drinking and dining spots in the evenings – especially towards the weekend.
