A Little About This Space
Looking for a big and beautiful green space in the middle of Shoreditch for your events? Housed within a set of 18th-century almshouses on Kingsland Road is the historic Grade I listed Geffrye Museum. The main museum building is currently closed for refurbishment, but its beautifully manicured front lawns are available to rent as a unique backdrop to your events.
THE CROWD
Although most of the artists that set the mould have moved out, the area remains home to a vibrant community of young media, start-up and City professionals. Tourists and Londoners flock here for the late-night bars, street markets and amazing Vietnamese eateries. Hoxton Station is behind the museum.
MEET THE NEIGHBOURS
There’s a string of Vietnamese restaurants to one side of the museum grounds, including the popular Mien Tay and Sông Quê Café. The Swedish bakery Fabrique serves up coffee and amazing cardamom buns on Geffrye Street, behind the museum.

HOURS
Day-Hire: 9am-5pm.
Evening-Hire: 6pm-11pm.
PRICES
Day-Hire: £5,000 + VAT.
Evening-Hire: £2,500 + VAT.
ALCOHOL LICENSE
Mondays - Saturdays: until 11pm.
Sundays: until 10.30pm.
- All music must be played through a limiter.
- All equipment can be hired in. There is some furniture that can be hired separately from the Landlord (eg. gazebos).
- Brands booking the space are responsible for waste disposal and collection.
- Available to rent for a minimum of 1 day.
