Since opening in the 1960s, Wandsworth’s Southside shopping centre has regularly adapted and expanded to meet local needs. The latest revamp, in 2015, added a multiplex cinema, second on-site gym and some new retail and restaurant units, including this double-height F&B space with an outside seating area overlooking Garratt Lane.

THE CROWD

Wandsworth’s community have always appealed to affluent families and couples. Now with its new apartments drawing the young professionals to the area, with Southside’s high street names, eateries, gyms and cinema drawing in over 700,000 people per month. Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest days, but this popular shopping centre sees a steady crowd all week round.

The restaurant is next door to Wagamama, and there’s a Halifax and The Gym to its other side. There’s also a Rossopomodoro pizzeria and Planet Organic supermarket nearby.
