A Little About This Space

No need to shed any blood, sweat or tears looking for your event space or food concept; this former military drill hall in London’s East End has a high, hangar ceiling and natural lighting. This space for rent comes with a kitchen area, bathrooms, tea and coffee-making facilities and refrigerators, as well as a production space with an ironing board, steamer, clothes rails and hangers.

The area is now home to one of London’s largest populations of people working in media, culture and sport. You’ll spot students, too, heading to and from Queen Mary University (which houses a huge residential campus). This part of Mile End Road is busiest during early evenings and on weekends with locals visiting the nearby restaurants and the famous arthouse cinema, Genesis.

You’re on a busy main road that is lined with restaurants, convenience stores and lots of independent businesses. The Genesis Cinema is down the road, as is the 40 Winks boutique hotel, a favourite in the fashion world.
