A Little About This Space

Stretching from Seven Sisters Road to Highbury Park, Blackstock Road is a high street every neighbourhood could envy with its delis, grocery stores and independent shops, pubs and eateries. Towards the fancier end of the road, this glass-fronted pop-up shop to let is in a row of local mainstays including rustic Italian restaurant Little Sardegna and second-hand bookshop House of Hodge.

THE CROWD

You’re in the middle of Arsenal territory here; on match days the street is a well-trodden path to the stadium and pubs like The Gunners fill up with fans. Nearby cafes Butler & Booth and Cinnamon Village are popular with Islington’s well-heeled crowd on weekday mornings and at the weekends, and the cosy craft beer pub The Woodbine over the road appeals to the old and young alike. Arsenal station is a six-minute walk away and buses run regularly up Blackstock Road.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

You’ll be in between the Highbury Hair Salon and the popular neighbourhood restaurant, Little Sardegna. Nearby you’ve got House of Hodge, and a pottery shop and studio that runs regular classes. Gathering Moss has been selling lovely furniture and homewares over the road since 1999.
