Marylebone may be a stone’s throw from Oxford Street but it’s a million miles away in atmosphere. On a prominent corner at the southern end of Marylebone High Street, this ground floor and basement space once occupied by Damien Hirst’s shop and gallery, Other Criteria, is now available to rent for retail.
Affluent, young families and old money make up most of the community here, although Marylebone’s upscale hotels and attractions – such as Durrants and the Wallace Collection around the corner - attract well-heeled tourists, too. The abundance of bars, cafes and shops in the area guarantee a steady flow of visitors during the week, but it’s evenings and weekends that see the busiest times. Bond Street station is a five-minute walk.
Next door, the Yves Delorme shop sells luxury linens, towels and cushions. Around the corner on Thayer Street is a specialist vintage movie poster store and Peruvian restaurant Pachamama.
Tenant will agree to secure the unit when they close at the end of each day. The necessary keys and alarm fobs will be supplied by the Landlord.
Works are currently taking place in the unit and the flooring has been removed.
