A Little About This Space
White City Place is quickly becoming one of West London’s newest creative, business and retail districts. Up Market is the first market of its kind here, which will bring a select choice of the best emerging food, lifestyle and lifestyle brands to an intimate market of up to four stalls in the MediaWorks reception. Timber frame stalls with countertops will be provided.
The market will run 10am - 2pm every Wednesday, with another intimate market running simultaneously at the Television Centre site, home to the BBC and ITV studios, located a ten minute walk away.
The crowd
MediaWorks is home to the offices of Net-a-Porter, Ralph & Russo and Huckletree, so you'll be in front of some of London's trendiest crowd, all looking for exciting new independents to discover. With the Royal College of Art campus sitting just the other side of the reception, you'll also have plenty of creative students walking through to and from White City station, which is a 4-minute walk away.
Meet the neighbours
You’ll be surrounded by a host of start ups, media agencies and all manner of cool new office blocks thanks to the huge regeneration project that has recently taken place. With the office and retail units now at 90% occupancy, you'll have plenty of workers and residents around to pop in, as well as cafes and restaurants on the doorstep.

Rules of The Space
This pitch is available from 10am - 3pm every Wednesday outside White City Place and 10am - 3pm every Thursday outside the Television Centre.
Operating hours must be strictly adhered to - stalls cannot be left unattended. Failure to comply may result in your booking being cancelled without refund.
Brands will need to purchase a vinyl (at an additional cost) to fit to hanging stall sign, no additional branding or signage will be permitted. These are not permanent fixtures. Our Additions Team can help with this.
Retailers will be provided with a market stall with a surface area of 1.75m x 0.7m.
Power and wifi are not available.
Rent is inclusive of a £10 stall set up and take down fee, meaning brands can turn up and trade without doing any of the heavy lifting.
Brands must have public and employers liability insurance (£5 million).
Visual merchandising must be to a high quality and stock must be attractively displayed.
Weather conditions can affect trading given the layout of the centre. On days where the weather is too wet, stalls may be set up inside the WestWorks Reception (White City Place).
White City Place and Appear Here staff have final sign off on stall design - this may include asking you to rearrange or remove certain products.
Pitch locations are allocated by the landlord and Appear Here staff. These are not permanent and therefore may be subject to change.
Market stalls and hanging signs must be returned in the condition provided. Tenants will be liable for any damages/missing signs including over and above the deposit fee (£100).
Retailers will be asked to declare turnover data.
All brands must adhere to the rules set out in the welcome pack.
In certain circumstances, brands may be required to fill out a risk assessment and method statement. They may also need to provide relevant PAT testing and Food Hygiene certificates (where necessary).
Once a booking has been countersigned by the Landlord it is not refundable or transferable.

The market is predominantly located inside the MediaWorks reception. This may be subject to change over the year.
All brands are required to purchase a re-usable foamex sign that can be stuck onto the hanging frame of the stall, with their brand name printed in black Avenir font. The sign is a requirement to trade at the market.
Signs cost approx £30 and are the brand's responsibility. Once payment has been made orders cannot be cancelled. Our Additions team can help with this!
