A Little About This Space

Shoreditch High Street is home to an array of cool hangouts, quirky boutiques and popular restaurants. Over the road from the pop-up phenomenon that is Boxpark, this basement shop space to rent is down the stairs of a standout concept store selling a range of fashion brands and coffee. For your launch, you can rent out the ground floor space for an additional fee.

THE CROWD

20 to 30-somethings (tourists too) flock here during the day for Boxpark and the street’s cool independent fashion and design stores, and the area is always lively with creatives working in the area. Evenings are busy with post-work drinkers and diners, but it’s Saturdays and Sundays that are the busiest with hip, young Londoners. Shoreditch High Street station is a two-minute walk away.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS

Carhartt has a shop a couple of doors down, and there’s a busy Pret, too. Boxpark over the road is home to a wide mix of independent brands and eateries like Astrid & Miyu, Deciem and Voodoo Ray's.

Rules of The Space

Brands will need to man the space themselves.

A1 license, but there is also a café within the store.

The space is available to rent for a minimum of one week.

Any redecoration plans needs to go through the Landlord.

The Landlord is happy to rent out the ground floor in the evening (between 8pm and 11pm) for your launch at an additional rate of £500.

Store opening hours:
Monday to Saturday: 10:00 - 20:00
Sunday: 12:00 - 18:00
The Landlord would like brands to fit in with these opening hours.

Home Truths

The space for rent is currently home to an art installation but this will be removed.

This is a basement space below an already existing concept store, so make sure your signage is clear. The Landlord is happy for you to put a vinyl in the window to let people know you’re there. If you need a vinyl designer and/or printer, our Additions team can help you out. View the Additions Service here.
