Kentish Town’s locals love their high street – a thriving mix of independent businesses, cool restaurants and cafes that help lend this north London neighbourhood its individual character. This coffee residency is housed within a newly-opened record store towards the Camden Town end, and comes with basement storage, coffee machine and grinder, and a large outdoor seating area at the back.
There’s been an influx of young professionals and City workers in recent years, but Kentish Town is home to a real mix of people, including students from the nearby Central St Martins. Opposite, the recently renovated Dunn’s Hat Factory has brought creative businesses such as Etsy and Endemol to the area. You’re in a bit of a foodie stretch here: BYOB Italian Anima e Cuore gets booked up weeks in advance, and Arancini Factory Café is a big lunchtime lure. Kentish Town and Camden Town tube stations are eight minutes away.
Fans of Amina e Cuore’s food will be beating a path to their new delicatessen, which is opening next door to you in September. The Lazy Hunter restaurant a couple of doors down attracts a big brunch crowd at the weekend.
A1 licence.
The space is available to rent for a minimum of one month.
The outside space needs some work, but the Landlord is planning to put a street art mural on the newly-rendered wall.
You’ll be sharing the shop with an existing record store, so you’ll need to let people know you’re here. The landlord is willing to help promote your residency on social media.
You'll have access to around 25% of the 50 sq. metres on the ground floor, but the Landlord is flexible on space as the records are in moveable bins.
You can use the existing coffee machine and coffee grinder in the shop for your customers.
