Bar & Restaurant
Laid-back, unusual and high-end – the shopping experience in Notting Hill is unique and unrivalled. Over 150,000 people visit Portobello Road each weekend, digging through the antique stores and independent boutiques for something special. Among one of them is Katrina Phillips, an ethical shop for luxury interiors, who’ve built a loyal customer base both locally and internationally. They're looking for an established high-end brand with their own customer base (similar to Katrina Phillips) to rent this space.
You'll never know who could walk through the door. A variety of high profile clients visit this store. The customers here have an eye for quality and look for a different kind of shopping experience with a personal approach. Fridays and Saturdays are busy with tourists scouring the stalls and boutiques for antiques, gifts and homewares, but the more affluent Notting Hill locals like to come in the week for unique finds when it's a little quieter.
You're next door to an antiques arcade and what used to be the Portobello Gold bed and breakfast. The Highland Store, specialising in wools, is two doors down. There's a few residential blocks across the street.

Setting up shop in Notting Hill is not for the faint-hearted. Brands must be high-end and established, with their own customer base.
This road is very dependent on who walks down it on a day to day, one moment it's full of thousands of people and the next it's very quiet. Prepare for those quieter times, especially during the week.
Despite the number of tourist shops, Portobello attracts many high profile clients. Make sure you give them a unique shopping experience and think about offering bespoke services in-store.
The shop fittings (as pictured) do come with the space, including two counters, shelving and the marble radiators.
At Appear Here we believe in the personal touch, which is why everyone gets matched to a Concierge who is there to help you find the perfect space for your idea.
