The market is launching this summer, and the terrace doesn't currently see a lot of footfall passing directly through. You'll be part of the first group of traders who will launch the market, drawing customers in with your delicious offerings and sharing on your social networks.
There are different power options available, please speak to your concierge before submitting a booking request to discuss suitability and availability.
Set up is from 08:00 and all traders must be off site by 17:00.
A loading bay is available 50m away at the Church next to the terrace, All Hallows by the Tower on Byward Street.
Space is limited so please be mindful of your fellow traders when parking.
The terrace area is up three steps. A ramp will be provided.
Gazebos must not be left unattended at any time, this means two persons are required to trade.
The pitch closest to the power box is circa 3m, the furthest pitch is circa 8m and therefore traders will need to provide appropriate length power cables and cable ramps.
You must provide your own 3 x 3m Pro 40 or Pro 50 gazebo as well as sufficient weights (minimum 20kg on each leg). The gazebo side and back panels must be attached to the gazebo at all times. Gazebos must be clean and no more than 2 years old.
All gazebos and set up must be approved prior to launch.
There will be 4 all weather single phase 32amp plug sockets available which traders may plug an all weather cable into and connect electrical equipment and devices into. Traders must use their designated sockets and cannot move without prior approval from Appear Here.
The cable and equipment must be compliant with all regulations and must be PAT tested within the last 12 months. The equipment must be equally distributed and not overload the supply as it will trip the power box providing electricity to all traders. Traders are responsible for any costs incurred for electrician call outs to re-set the supply or fix any faults.
Traders are permitted to use gas with prior approval. All gas canisters must be kept in cages. Traders must have gas safety certification for all equipment, tested within the last 12 months.
Traders using electricity, gas cylinder, cooking or other equipment that have the potential to cause a fire are to bring their own fire fighting equipment including fire blanket, dry powder fire extinguisher, substantial oil proof matting and a first aid kit.
Traders must come adequately prepared to clean up any accidental oil spills, and be in possession of oil absorbing cloths, mats, cleaning agents to disperse etc. Should the space be damaged in any way, traders will be responsible for covering the cost and reimbursing the landlord for charges ensued as a result.
There is a mandatory briefing prior to your first day of trading.
Copy of Public Liability Insurance (min £5million), Food Hygiene and PAT testing and Gas Safety certificates required and mandatory to trade. Traders must have these with them and accessible at all times on site.
The booking constitutes a commitment to trade at the market for each day booked.
A damage deposit of £100 is held in the case of any damage to pitches, electrical faults, or no-shows.
Damage deposit in addition to rents will be retained in the case of no-shows.
All bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
The landlord will consider date transfers on a case-by-case basis if minimum notice of 7 days is provided.
Rent is inclusive of rates and service charges (electricity and water).
If any trader is found to be in breach of any of the above terms they will be asked to leave site immediately and their deposits and other rents paid will not be refunded . Depending on the severity of the breach may be excluded from future bookings.
