Bordered by Dalston, Shoreditch and Hoxton, it’s no surprise that Haggerston is now home to its own collection of hip eateries, bars and businesses – including this lovely loft space for hire besides the Regent’s Canal. Just off Kingsland Road, this versatile venue has loads of natural light, a kitchen area and a breakout room, making it ideal for meetings, presentations and workshops.
Orsman Road is home to a host of artists’ studios, architects and the HQ of Tinie Tempah’s record and fashion label, Disturbing London, meaning you’ll see a fair few young creatives around in the mornings, evenings and lunchtimes as they pop out for food at Waterhouse or By the Bridge Café. Live music bar The Stag’s Head will bring people by your door in the evenings – more so from Thursday through the weekend. Haggerston station is a five-minute walk.
You’ll be next door to Disturbing London, with Waterhouse – a restaurant run by the Shoreditch Trust to train young locals in the catering industry – a couple of doors away. Acme Studios – home to 40+ artists’ studios – is over the road.
The venue has no alcohol license, but you’re welcome to bring your own (as long as you’re not selling it!).
Minimum hire is one day, and there’s no maximum.
The space will look like photos, but you can move the furniture around and hang things from the walls and beams – as long as they don’t cause any damage.
The furniture must stay in the space, but can be moved around to suit your needs.
