The East Village is building itself up into a cultural hotbed, surrounded by lounges, galleries and the odd music venue. This is an exciting and up and coming neighbourhood. The spaces comes with fitted counters, decorative lighting, and a kitchen/ storage area in the back.
Not totally dissimilar from other well-known sections of New York, the East Village is home to buzzing crowds that are quick to flock to the next big opening or debut. It’s all about being on the cutting edge of culture, and this space is welcoming to that sort of vibe. You can expect younger crowds as well as the usual mix of locals looking to try out something different. St. Marks is particularly popular over the weekend thanks to a wide variety of cafe options around. Bus stops just across the street, on 2nd Avenue, are the nearest transportation link.
Neighbours include the Parisian Jules Bistro, Xi’an Famous Foods, Kikoo Sushi, and the Drunken Dumpling.
The entrance could use some work.
