Williamsburg’s riverfront is full of modern buildings, both residential and retail, like this large pop up space for rent on Kent Avenue. Formerly a chlidren’s play gym, there are a bunch of rooms and areas that could be used creatively.
While Williamsburg tries to hold on to its hipster vibe, stores like Whole Foods and the Apple Store prove that money has moved to town. This area always has lots of cycling commuters biking by, as well as large crowds in the warm months to hang out in the nearby parks. The Bedford L is a ten minute walk away.
A pet store and a Soul Cycle are next door, and the East River Ferry and East River State Park are nearby. The Music Hall of Williamsburg and the Artists & Fleas market are close, as are The Levee and The Brooklyn Flea.
The space is really large and shares an entrance with the pet store, but there is so much room to develop this space into something unique.
