Connecting the desirable areas of Kensington and Notting Hill, Kensington Church Street is home to a charming collection of art galleries, antiques shops and eateries, as well as the floral displays of the Churchill Arms pub. Towards the Notting Hill end of the road, this newly-refurbished shop to let comes with a ground floor and basement with access to a number of smaller vaults for storage.
As well as the area’s affluent residents, you could spot art lovers and collectors coming to browse and buy at Kensington Church Street’s many galleries and curiosity shops. Tourists and locals pack out the Churchill Arms in the evenings and on weekends, and the two wine merchants opposite are a popular go-to for workers on their way home. Notting Hill station is a five-minute walk away.
Antique silver specialists, Silverman, are on one side of this space, and designer Anne Higgins sells her “art to wear” clothes on the other side. Two of Kensington Church Street’s most famous spots, the Churchill Arms and Clarke’s Restaurant (Britain’s first “farm to fork” establishment) are very close by.
