Lower 6th Avenue in Greenwich Village used to have a "seedy" reputation, but with new shops and restaurants, it's now one of the busiest areas of the city. Put your brand in front of heavy foot traffic right on the corner in a lovely shop to rent for a pop-up with lots of space, a basement, restrooms, and a large window to grab the attention of passersby.
This part of town is the nexus of downtown life with a cross-section of humanity traveling and living on its famous streets. Here you'll find all ages at all times a day from students to upwardly mobile professionals. There's also a major subway hub right across the avenue.
Don't worry -- there's still some of that old-school NYC on the block with a famous tattoo shop and underwear store next door. Manhattan icons Papaya Dog (a major tourist destination) and the IFC cinema are also on 6th.
Although they evoke a romantic atmosphere, the decor and the lighting are very dark.
