THE CROWD

This mostly Polish neighborhood resisted gentrification for years, but has now found a happy compromise. It’s not uncommon to see young hipsters lining up for lunch at Pyza. The days might be a little quiet around here, but nights and weekends are especially busy in the area. You’ll be a few minutes' walk from the Greenpoint ferry and G train.

The space is next to The Barge Bar, and just around the corner from Ovenly bakery, and Paulie Gee’s for perhaps the best pizza in Greenpoint. Bars like The Diamond and Shayz Lounge are close, and nearby Manhattan Avenue is full of eateries.
