This unusual space is in the emerging neighbourhood of La Chapelle, north of the 18th district, in a disused railway site already known to the public and available for rent. It also includes a gallery and a large semi-covered space bookable separately. With its graffitis, its adaptable surface, its bar and its opening to the outside, this space lends itself to many projects: from an artistic, corporate or B2B event, to a photo shoot, fashion show or pop-up hangout.
Rather widespread, the area of the space is bounded by the underground stations Porte de la Chapelle, Marx Dormoy and Crimée and energised by former industrial sites turned into multi-disciplinary, festive places, such as Le Centquatre, La Station and la Halle Pajol. This wind of change attracts young families and creative types that meet at weekends and meal times in these cultural centres, which are quickly becoming key Parisian destinations and stir the curiosity of trendy crowds from other neighbourhoods.
Within walking distance of the space, you'll find some unassuming neighbourhood restaurants that are very popular with the locals, such as the Café de la Gare or couscous joint La Kahina.
The space is a bit off the beaten path. Provide visitors with precise directions (motorway access and public transport) on how to get to the site!
