Once a restaurant/bar, this pop-up space for rent on 1st Avenue gets you close to some of East Village's most well-known restaurants and bars, vintage shops and record stores.
1st Avenue is constantly busy with both cars and people walking from the L train to the LES or East Village hotspots. Restaurants and bars like Drunken Dumpling and Coyote Ugly draw crowds to the area. It’s mostly a young crowd in the evenings and weekends, but all sorts of people shop and eat here during the day. You’re five blocks from the L train.
Next door are The China Star and Kikoo Sushi, and across the street are bars The Hard Swallow and Goodnight Sonny. Classic dive bar Blue and Gold Tavern is a block south, and The Mermaid Inn, Caracas, Cafe Mogador, and Upstate are all great restaurants close by.
This is a small bar/retail space so it's not suitable for everyone, but its location in the East Village makes it worth it.
