Built in 1902, Duke Street Arcade is one of the many examples of Cardiff’s quintessential Victorian arcades. This little alleyway is home to independent shops, boutiques and salons and can be found opposite the castle, in the city’s busy Castle Quarter.
This retail space is close to a popular café and barbershop and features a bright, modern shopfront. With big bay windows all the way across to let in plenty of light. Inside, the ground floor is light, airy and features built-in shelving, with some separate storage (or fitting room) space on the ground floor. The top floor is spacious and perfect for retail, while the big basement provides more well-lit storage space.
Duke Street Arcade is in the middle of a busy shopping area, with High Street Arcade just behind. This neighbourhood is filled with independent brands such as The Joke Shop and The Little Shop of Vintage.
The basement is a bit damp and probably only suitable for storage. The rest of the space is in good to go condition though.
