In Chalk Farm, you can be close enough to the Camden action but dodge the tourist throngs. As well as Camden's Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road is home to an unusual mix of independent shops, cafes and music venues. Stables Market (a three-minute walk away) attracts an average of 270,000 tourists and Londoners each week. Two doors down, Marine Ices’ new home is a firm favourite with locals and visitors. Chalk Farm Tube (two minutes’ walk away) brings passersby heading to and from the markets, especially on weekends when Camden Town station is exit-only.
