Cambridge’s connoisseurs of food and drink are in for a treat this summer as Foodies Festival takes over Parker’s Piece – named after Edward Parker, the city’s first restaurateur, no less – for a summer weekend. From the 17th - 19th July 2019, a line-up of celebrity chefs, live bands, workshops, masterclasses and, of course, food and drink producers will draw a food-loving crowd from far and wide. Take on a market stall here and join in the fun.
People who share your passion for food will be here in their numbers; around 25,000 visitors attend each three-day Foodies Festival. You’ll meet foodies of all ages who are here to sample and buy the country’s artisanal produce, and buyers and restaurateurs who are scouting for something new. Parker’s Piece is near the city centre, a 12-minute walk from Cambridge train station.
Each Foodies Festival attracts a line-up of the country’s finest food and drink producers, top chefs and street food sellers.
