Located on busy Bushwick Avenue, this pop up gallery space for rent is ready for art on the walls, but could also be used for a small retail pop up as well. You’ll be just blocks away from famous Roberta’s Pizza, and a short walk from some of Bushwick’s best bars and restaurants. Bushwick is known for its quirky art galleries and boutiques, so no business idea is too outside the box.
On the border of Bushwick and Williamsburg, you won’t find big chain stores in this neighborhood, but what you will find are boutiques, galleries, small music venues, and local bars and restaurants. Bushwick might not get the tourists that Williamsburg does, but it has a thriving scene, and the young crowd keeps things busy and interesting. Freelancers fill up cafes like the Swallow Cafe during the day, and the bars like Duck Duck get busy in the evenings.
The neighborhood has a little bit of everything, including your neighbors like the popular NY Moore Hostel, The Ange Noir Cafe, a coffee bar with live music and craft beer, American restaurant 983, the always popular bar Pine Box Rock Shop, and the famous vintage clothing shop Beacon’s Closet. Also nearby are the Bushwick Food Coop, Ethiopian restaurant Bunna, and bars No Bull NYC, and the Tradesman.
This block is mostly residential, but there are lots of business a block in either direction.
