Bloomsbury’s brutalist masterpiece, The Brunswick Centre is a community hub combining housing, an arthouse cinema and shopping parade in one Grade II-listed package. Around 7 million people per year visit the Brunswick’s collection of fashion-focused stores, eateries and the largest Waitrose in central London. During the week, lunchtimes and evenings will be your busiest times as local residents, students and local office workers come here to browse the shops, buy second-hand books or grab lunch and groceries from Waitrose. At weekends, you’ll see tourists from Bloomsbury’s many hotels rubbing shoulders with a largely local crowd.
