A Little About This Space

Montpelier Vale is one of Blackheath’s two main shopping streets and packed with independent boutiques and high-end chains frequented by the area’s affluent locals. Nestled in a quaint parade of shops, this double-fronted, large former gallery to let is a great space for you to introduce your idea to one of London’s loveliest villages and a crowd that likes to support independent brands.

THE CROWD

Blackheath’s village-like vibe and strong sense of community are popular with young professionals and families not quite ready to make the move out of London. Counting among them designer boutique OSKA, Sweaty Betty and The Ivy Café, Montpelier Vale’s shops, bars and restaurants are well-loved by the area’s well-heeled residents. Friday evenings and weekends are the busiest times, as weekday workers get to make the most of their neighbourhood. Blackheath station is a minute’s walk away.

You’ll be in between Café Rouge and Mary's Living and Giving charity shop. Sweaty Betty is two doors down, and you’ll be over the road from Whistles and Mordens Wine Bar, pretty much the village’s only late-night spot. The Ivy Café Blackheath is up the road.
