Beyond its local history, Brooklyn is still growing into a globally recognised hotspot for entertainment, culture, and shopping. Sitting on Atlantic Avenue, just down the street from the Barclays Center, is this retail space that is lined with wood details on the walls and comes fitted with dressing rooms.
This is one of New York’s bohemian hubs, so the art-obsessed, culturally minded crowd will be a fairly regular sight. Two of the main draws for traffic here are going to be the historic Fort Fireman and, further down, the Barclays Center. It’s a mix of art and music lovers mixed in with more local residents and tourists, all of which can come and go via the nearby Hoyt-Schermerhorn underground station. Expect loud, busy weekends.
Neighbours include a popular coffee bar next door as well as a non-profit bookstore and historic landmark across the street.
There are a few empty stores close by.
