Atherton Street, Manchester - The Old Granada Studios Event Space

Used as the headquarters for Granada productions between 1956 and 2013, the Old Granada Studios saw popular programmes such as University Challenge, The Jeremy Kyle Show, and Coronation Street being recorded. This one of a kind venue provides an ideal backdrop for meetings, events, or concept ideas. The space itself is simple in décor with white walls and light coloured flooring. A number of windows mean the ground floor space is bright and sunny. An unusual sculpture in the corner of the room adds interest to an otherwise blank canvas. Set back from the River Irwell, the Studios is a large and imposing structure. Cultural hotspots such as The Bridgewater Hall and Manchester Art Gallery are within walking distance. Found halfway between Salford Central and Deansgate stations, it's also conveniently located.
