Avenue B has some fantastic brunch spots, bars, cafes, and this wonderful pop-up retail space for rent. Marble floors throughout lend an elevated feel to this boutique space.
Alphabet City has been somewhat of a secret local’s favorite for years. You won’t find many tourists wandering the streets, but you will find some of the best bars and restaurants in the city. Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays are always busy with people lining up to eat at Esperanto and Horus Cafe. Minca and Pardon My French nearby also draws visitors to this area. The E and F at 2nd Ave are two avenues away.
Next door is a deli and an upscale Mexican restaurant called Fonda. Wild Projects theater is on the block, and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe is half a block to the east. The bar scene is good too, with Mama’s Bar, The Mockingbird, and Bibi wine bar all close by.
The space comes empty but has interesting features like wood and marble flooring and photographic wallpaper.
