Dum Dum Doughnuts

For those with a sweet tooth and an eye for the unusual, head down to Old Street Underground station and sample the Dum Dum Doughnuts confection menu. Each dessert is fresh, handmade and is low in fat as they’re baked instead of fried. There is an expansive and ever changing range of doughnuts, cronuts and frodough (doughnuts with ice cream inside) so you’ll never be short of choice. Some of our favourites are the nutella coated cronut and the almond and pistachio doughnut.

Penguin Books

To celebrate the famous publishing house’s 80th birthday, Penguin Books are launching a five day pop-up shop in BOXPARK, Shoreditch. This literary treasure trove will be the place to discover old classics, be inspired by new publications and get your hands on a range of coveted merchandise such as mugs and tote bags. You can also take a look at archives and original files from some of the country's most loved authors alongside the live drawing of a mural which will take place lunchtime each day.

Hammerschlagen

This German inspired pop-up cafe and bar will be appearing in The DOT, Dalston, for one month only. Here, you will find a collection of beers from around the globe to compliment the menu of vegetarian delights and Frankfurters. Hammerschlagen will also be setting up the decks to entertain their guests offering a great opportunity for aspiring DJ’s to show the North Londoners what they can do.

DiGaurdo has been steadily making a name for itself amongst those on the London fashion scene. They are launching an pop-up in Islington to showcase their Autumn/ Winter collection. This signature store will offer some of the top fashion pieces from independent designers for those looking for a feminine, contemporary look that doesn’t break the bank.

Waffle On

The tasty street food brand, Waffle On, are beginning a 3 month residency in The Watch House in Bermondsey. Their trademark buttermilk waffles can be served as a filling evening meal or a treat at the end of the night. For the savoury palettes amongst us, try the Asian spiced slow-roasted shredded duck with plum sauce or indulge in waffles topped with belgian chocolate sauce with fresh gooey meringue.
